Who is not eligible for intensives?

While intensives can be a powerful healing option, they’re not the right fit for everyone.
You may be referred for another level of care first if you are currently experiencing:

  • Active suicidal thoughts or are in acute crisis.
  • Unstable substance use requiring specialized treatment.
  • Domestic violence or an unsafe environment.
  • Lack of readiness or emotional capacity to engage in deeper work at this stage.

In these cases, stabilization, safety, or foundational therapy often comes first. If needed, I can provide referrals or collaborate with your care team to support you in the best next step.
